Have a Brilliant Title Idea? Submit It!

Last week our team started to discuss the title for the NEW Tozer book. This is the next book in the ‘never before published’ series of new Tozer works, and Book Four in the Tozer Library project. Book Two is currently titled Reclaiming Christianity, and it is due to release later this year in mid-2009.

Book Three is currently titled And He Dwelt Among Us and it features some of Tozer’s lost teaching from the Gospel of John. More to come on this book later. Once we have some of the content finalized, we’ll create a page and post it up here.

Book Four book releases in February of 2010, and the topic is living as a Christian, living the Christian life. I believe one of the chapter titles is “On Fashioning Ourselves As Christians” in appropriate Tozer language.

Tozer quotes from “The Purpose of Man”

The new book of never before published Tozer writings, “The Purpose of Man,” features the incomparable A.W. Tozer writing about the worship of God with great eloquence (actually speaking about it, this book was taken from actual Tozer sermons).

Here are a couple of the best quotes from the book:

New Tozer Works

This blog is the project of a small group of editors and designers working on a new series of never before published works by preacher and author A.W. Tozer.

The first  book in the series is “The Purpose of Man”, a book of lost Tozer writings (taken from old sermon tapes) on the worship of God, which he considered the chief end of man. On this blog, you will find a page dedicated to this book with free downloads, quotes and updates about that title (and we will add a page for each book as it nears completion). We just finished work on The Purpose of Man only a handful of weeks ago, and it just came back from the printer. Check it out here:  The Purpose of Man.

In all we are developing five new books written by A.W. Tozer, and an authorized biography. The biography is titled “The Life of A.W. Tozer” and it was written with authorization from the Tozer estate by James Snyder. Check it out here: The Life of A.W. Tozer.

The second book of new Tozer writings will be about the Christian Life. We are still transcribing and editing the book, and coming up with title ideas, some of which we may post here for comments. Following that we will work on three more books of unpublished Tozer writings.
